The engineering department is responsible for the design and administration of water, sewer, and street projects as well as the construction of public buildings and recreational facilities. Bringing projects from ideas to reality includes survey work, plans and specifications preparation utilizing computer drafting, working through the bid acquisition process, working with various state and federal agencies on funding, permits, and coordinating joint projects when highway improvements require changes and upgrades to city utilities. During the construction phase, the engineering department provides support and guidance to the contractors as they work towards the completed projects. This department also provides technical information to the city council as they make decisions in regards to the various projects that benefit the community.

State Licensed Engineer
Currently been with the City since 2005. Responsible for design and construction administration of all city infrastructure projects.
